IBPS RRB will issue a recruitment notification in June 2022 for Group “A” Officers (Scale-I, II, and III) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in numerous Regional Rural Banks. The online registration for IBPS RRB will most likely begin in July. Interested and qualified applicants should apply by the deadline. Both Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer positions are open to applicants. They are only eligible to apply for one position in the officer’s cadre. If applying for both positions, the individual must complete a separate application form which is also available on the official website.

- General Banking Officer: Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 50% marks and two years of work experience.
- IT Officer: With 1 year of experience, a bachelor’s degree in electronics, communication, computer science, or information technology is required.
- CA: 1-year experience as a Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- Law Officer: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law with at least 50% Marks and a 2-Year Advocate Practice.
- Treasury Manager: CA or MBA in Finance with 1-Year of Experience
- Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing with 1-Year of Experience.
- Agriculture Officer: Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, or Pisciculture with a minimum of 50% marks and two years of experience is required.

Selection Process
Step 1: Preliminary Examination
- Candidates for the jobs of Officers Scale I and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) must take the Preliminary Examination.
- Candidates must additionally pass both tests by achieving the minimum cut-off marks.
- Depending on the requirements, candidates in each category will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination.
Step 2: Main Examination
- Only those applicants who passed the preliminary examination will be eligible to take the Mains Exam.
- The Officers and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Mains Exam will be worth 200 points.
- Only those who apply for the position of Office Assistant will be given a provisional allotment (Multipurpose).
- For the position of Officers Scale I, candidates who pass the Mains Examination will be invited to an interview.
Online Examination
- Those applying for Scale-II (Generalists and Specialists) and Scale III will take a single online examination.
- Candidates who were shortlisted in the single examination will be invited to a Common Interview.
Step 3: Interview (for officer post only)
- For general candidates, the minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 40%, while for SC/ST/OBC/PWD class candidates, it will be 35%.
Conclusion
Candidates must wait until at least June 2022 for the formal announcement. However, they can refer to the details from 2021 because we don’t expect much to change in the 2022 announcement.
