Trapper Assassin Build Guide for Diablo 2 items Resurrection | Assassin Build Guide
The Trapper Assassin employs fire traps to deal with a large number of enemies at one time. Each trap placed on the ground will attack all enemies within range on a regular basis, allowing you to remain in a safe position at all times.
Wake of Fire is the name of the trap that you’ll be employing for this particular build. This trap will periodically erupt triangular-shaped waves of fire that will deal massive damage to enemies while passing through them without harming them.
Keep in mind that this Build guide is intended for players on the first difficulty level (Normal) and up to approximately Lvl 40. This build will allow you to complete Nightmare on Elm Street with ease, but there are much more efficient builds available at that point, so I would recommend respeccing.
If you are a new player, I strongly advise you to keep the respec that you receive after completing the first quest, Den of Evil, for future use. If you do, you’ll be able to speak with Akara and have her respect your character, which will allow you to upgrade your character once you reach Nightmare difficulty.
Stats for the Assassin Build Guide | Trapper
Diablo 2 Resurrected builds have a stat distribution that focuses on allocating enough points into Strength to meet equipment requirements, enough Dexterity to reach maximum Block Chance, and then allocating everything else into Vitality to gain as much life as possible. And while this is true for the majority of Builds, it can be difficult to determine when you should assign these Attribute Points to specific components.
- Strength: The majority of the game’s equipment pieces require a high level of physical strength
- While playing through the game the first time, you’ll want to accumulate enough points to be able to slot in the best Diablo 2 equipment for each act
- Strength in Act I: 30Act II: 45 points of strength
- Act III – V: 60 lbs of muscle
- From here on out, you should only assign points into Strength if you come across an Item that is worth the time and effort to research
- If this is the case, simply assign the points to Vitality
- With a Shield, Dexterity is critical for the majority of builds because buy Diablo 2 resurrected items increases the chance of getting blocked
- Given that Block Chance is not particularly important at the start of the game, we will not be awarding any points in this category
- Vitality: This is where you should spend all of your remaining points
- The ability to increase Vitality will significantly increase your health pool, which is critical for staying alive when fighting large groups of enemies
- Vitality also increases your Stamina, which allows you to run for longer periods of time without needing to stop
- Energy: There are no points that need to be assigned to this category
Trapper Build Guide Skills | Assassin Build Guide
You’ll spend the majority of your time working on the Traps Skill Tree in order to deal damage, but you’ll also spend some time working on the Shadow Disciple Skill Tree in order to unlock the Burst of Speed Skill and other utility Skills.
The Aftermath of Fire
This trap triggers a triangle-shaped fire wave that deals extremely high damage and has the ability to pierce through enemy defenses. The maximum number of traps that can be invoked at the same time is five, so you’ll want to cast five Wake of Fire traps around each group of monsters in order to maximize your chances of success.
A burst of acceleration
Movement speed and attack speed are both increased by this Spell, which is a double-whammy. At the opposite end of the spectrum from other skills, traps are not affected by Faster Cast Rate, but their cast speed is affected by Attack Speed. This means that a higher Attack Speed will result in more traps being laid in a shorter period of time. Furthermore, the increased movement speed provided by this skill is extremely useful, as D2R Ladder Runewords allows you to travel quickly through the map or run around in circles while enemies die as a result of your traps.
Cloak of Shadows is a type of disguise.
As long as no monsters are within melee range, this skill will cover the entire area in darkness, forcing them to cease all attacks and spells. This completely eliminates the ability to attack from a distance. It also has the additional effect of decreasing monsters’ defense while increasing your own defense.
The insane amount of damage dealt by this build means that you won’t need to use Cloak of Shadows during the early stages of the game because you’ll kill everything before it has a chance to strike back at you. However, if you find yourself struggling against ranged opponents, don’t be afraid to grab it sooner rather than later.
Fade in and out of existence
This Skill increases all resistances while also shortening the duration of curses (which also applies to shrines). Aside from that, Switch D2R ladder items has a secret physical resistance bonus, which is excellent for increasing survivability.
The problem with Fade is that D2R runes for sale can’t be used at the same time. As Burst of Speed, which is frustrating. Alternatively, you can still assign one point here if you wish. Which you can use if you are struggling with a high elemental damage area and you lack Resistances.
Distribution of Competencies
For the purpose of skill distribution, you’ll want to make sure that your Wake of Fire spell. Is at its maximum level first. Once you’ve maxed out Wake of Fire, you can devote your attention to Fire Blast. It will allow you to increase its damage even further. Here’s a guide to help you decide how to assign your skills.
The idea here is to use Fire Blast until you reach level 12, when you will be able to use Wake of Fire. Afterwards, keep cranking Wake of Fire until it’s at its maximum. And then pump Fire Blast to further increase the damage done by Wake of Fire. Use Burst of Speed to increase your Attack Speed. In turn increases the speed with which Wake of Fire traps can be dropped.
Build Runewords as an Assassin | Trapper
Runes are a special type of socketed item that not only has unique properties, but can also be combined with other Runes to form what is known as a Runeword. Runes are socketed items that have unique properties and can be combined with other Runes to form a Runeword. It is possible to create Runewords by inserting Runes in a specific order inside specific types of equipment. The item must be of Normal Rarity, be capable of supporting the Runeword, and have the same number of sockets as the number of Runes required. Take note that some magical items have sockets on them, but even if you put the Runes in the correct order, you will not be able to create a Runeword, and you will therefore lose all of your Runes. Therefore, only use Normal Rarity items to create a Runeword.
While Runewords are frequently referred to as “End Game” equipment. Some of them can be crafted very early on in Diablo 2 Resurrected. It should not be too difficult to come by in the game. You can look for socketed items at merchants if you are in need of a base, but make sure they are of the Normal rarity before purchasing them.
Runewords are the most reliable way to level up your character as you progress through the game. So I strongly advise you to review the complete list on our Wiki. And to check the runes that you currently have and the Runewords that you can craft on a regular basis.
Runes can be harvested by participating in Countess Runs. The Countess is a Super Unique Monster that can be found inside the Forgotten Tower in Act I. She is a female monster with a long tail. You will always receive between one and three Runes for killing her, and the level of the Runes will vary depending on the difficulty setting.
What Kind of Equipment Should You Use?
When comes to surviving in Diablo 2 Resurrected, your elemental resistances are essential. Elements are used by the majority of enemies to deal damage. And having high resistances will help to mitigate a large portion of this damage. Therefore, I strongly advise you to concentrate your efforts on equipping equipment pieces. It increase your Resistance during the Normal difficulty of the game.
You can view your current resistances by selecting Stats from the main menu. And scrolling down to the bottom of the screen. Resistances have a cap of +75%, and you’ll want to make sure you’ve maxed out all of them. By the time you reach the end of Normal difficulty. Make sure to check your equipment on a regular basis to ensure that D2R items for sale is balanced and that the height is as high as possible.
Because loot is generated at random, you will have no control over the equipment. You receive during the early and even mid-stages of the game. With the exception of creating Runewords. That being said, there are some general guidelines for the Stats that you should be looking for on your items. In order to ensure that your character scales up with the increasing difficulty of the game.
It’s important to remember that faster cast rate (FCR) has no effect on trap throwing speed; instead, increased attack speed (IAS) has an effect. This is extremely important when deciding which items to equip your character with.
As you progress through the game, you’ll come across a lot of Charms. While having these in your inventory is convenient. They can quickly take up a lot of space. Making it difficult to collect as much loot as you would like. Attempt to concentrate your efforts on the bonuses to Life. Resistances, and +MagicFind, as these are the most important ones for your build.
In terms of character selection and equipment, Act 2 Mercenaries are the best option for all builds. Due to their Paladin Auras and the ability to equip Polearm Weapons.
Possessing the ability to use Polearms is extremely important, as many powerful Runewords can be created on them. Each of which provides a different buff or debuff to the enemy. This Mercenary from Greiz can be found in LutGholein, where you can hire him.
The Prayer Mercenary, which can be found on the Normal difficulty. Is the one to choose when it comes to selecting an Aura. The Prayer Aura provides heal regeneration. It allows you to survive for longer periods of time without the use of Potions. Once you reach Nightmare difficulty, you can hire a Mercenary with the Holy Freeze Aura. It slows enemies around you and is extremely effective at crowd control.
