Basics of Effective Presentations
To be an effective presenter is not easy. Many of the presenters that are encountered in various fields leave much to be desired. It doesn't take long to realize that a presenter is going to be hopeless in conveying useful information regardless of the dazzling video technologies used. So what does it take to make a good presentation?
The objective of this course is to try to answer this very question. Several approaches for effective presenting will be demonstrated, based on the experience of Professor Ezekiel in technical, as well as, non-technical areas. The course will be highly interactive and each participant will get several opportunities to present and be critiqued.
The course is suitable for all those who are seriously interested in acquiring skills for making effective presentations, regardless of their fields. Both short presentations (less than 30 minutes) and long presentations (longer than 30 minutes) will be considered.
The length of the course can vary from one day to three days, or longer, depending on the number of participants and their needs.
